PADANE is a multi-year initiative designed to improve food and nutrition security and drive inclusive agri-business development. It is implemented through a consortium of 11 national and international NGOs, private sector actors, and research institutions, coordinated by SNV Burundi.
The project builds on the foundation of earlier programmes, including SCAD and PAPAB, and continues to expand the PIP (Integrated Farm Plan) approach to smallholder farmers across the country.

PADANE is financed under the Multi-Annual Country Strategic Plan 2019–2022 by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Burundi.
